Mustafa Shakib Al-Khameri is a Senior M&E Specialist from Yemen, holding a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering and Management from Ta’iz & Delft Universities. He also completed professional training in the United States through the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) scholarship program at the University of Michigan. Currently, he serves as the Senior M&E Specialist for CARPO's Rethinking Yemen's Economy project.
With over 17 years of experience in national and international projects in Yemen, Mustafa brings immediate value by developing innovative, cost-effective methods for compiling and visualizing both primary and secondary data. His approach integrates data analysis with contextual insights, enabling teams to engage in interactive, collaborative learning and impact analysis using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
He has a proven track record of strong leadership and interpersonal skills, demonstrated by his ability to manage communications at all levels—from coordinating field research to building partnerships with international organizations. His expertise in contextual analysis is rooted in a deep understanding of Yemen’s social, political, and development dynamics, complemented by extensive on-the-ground experience managing large teams across the country.
Additionally, he has applied his M&E and research expertise throughout Yemen, evaluating multi-sector humanitarian and development programs for organizations such as USAID, the World Bank, GIZ, ICON Institute, UNICEF, UNDP, FEWSNET, Chemonics, IOM, ARK, Action Contre la Faim, IRC, and Mercy Corps.
