Laura Czok is a Project Assistant at CARPO and supports the team primarily in the project Tafahum wa Tabadul as well as in the project West Asian and Sub-Saharan African Partnerships in Flux (WASSAP).
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cultures and Environments in Africa at the University of Cologne and previously studied Near and Middle Eastern Studies. Her research interests focus on transregional relations between the MENA region and Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in the context of migration, environmental issues, and societal transformation processes
