Research Cooperation on Peacebuilding and Development in Yemen

Project Duration

February 2016 – today

Research cooperation on an equal footing between Yemeni and international researchers has been a central impact pathway of CARPO since its founding. It specifically addresses the academic isolation of Yemeni researchers and the restricted access of international research to Yemen resulting from the conflict ongoing since 2014/15. Since 2016, this approach has been embedded across projects implemented with diverse partners and supported by multiple donors. This page brings together the key outcomes of these collaborative initiatives; partner organizations are acknowledged through their logos on the respective publications.
